“We have a coastal vacation home in Ocean Isle Beach. We decided that we needed more space as our family continues to grow so we began the journey of finding a contractor for our project. During the 2024 Brunswick County parade of homes we visited a remodel project that Matt Wallace of Gung Ho Construction had completed. His work was very impressive so we contacted him along with two other contractors to take a look at our project which consisted of enclosing two outside porches to enlarge two bedrooms, build a beautiful bunk room that would be exciting for our grandchildren, and add an interior wall with a double sliding pocket door that would allow us to have both a sitting room and sleeping room as needed.
We met with Matt and his team and decided to move forward. Matt did an amazing job for us. We felt very comfortable working with Matt. He listened to our ideas and efficiently converted them into our wonderful new living spaces. We found Matt to be very knowledgeable and we were also very impressed with his subcontractors. They were all very neat and professional.
Matt kept us in the loop on all phases of the project complete with updates, pictures, and videos along the way. The project was completed on time as budgeted.
